The Parc de Fierbois
History
In 1966, Claude and Max de Lussac created the Parc de Fierbois as a leisure park for the natives of Touraine who went fishing, swimming and played tennis in this quiet and natural setting.
Two years later, 50 pitches had been set up on the banks of the lake and Max de Lussac decided to join the Castels chain in 1971.
The activities and the equipment developed with the creation in 1989 of the heated swimming pool. The water activity areas in the centre of the village opened 2 years after in 1991. For the older children, an archery area and an adventure trail were set up in 2005. Pony rides and pony and trap rides were offered to children from 2007 onwards.
The Parc de Fierbois has been offering rental accommodation since 1970 with the first chalets near the lake. This offer is renewed and modernised every year. The chalets « Grand Espace » 46 sq m for 5 to 6 people are proposed since 2007.
The restaurant which opened in 1970 had a pizzeria added in 1985. The swimming pool Bar which opened in 2005 next to the water activities is now the centre of attractions and offers snack meals all day long.
Each year the Parc de Fierbois brings in new services to make a holiday village where you will want to come back with your family and your friends.
