Loire Châteaux
The Loire Châteaux were often built and remodelled during the French Renaissance. Many of them were Medieval and they have kept their original architecture. The concentration in one region of so many remarkable monuments justified the fact that the Loire Valley was named a World Heritage Site in 2000.
